Graduate Analyst, Multi Asset (12 month FTC)
The Graduate Analyst will assist the Multi Asset team with the production of presentations, spreadsheet management, data analysis and other ad hoc investment related projects. This role allows for accelerated learning and will be extremely rewarding with the more effort you put in. It is a key role with regards to ensuring effective work around Russell’s flagship product.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract to start mid/late August 2025.
The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:
Regulatory & Business conduct

Effectively and collaboratively identifying, escalating, mitigating and resolving risk, conduct and compliance.
Team and Portfolio Management
Helping to automate daily portfolio management tasks.
Producing timely market packs.
Assisting in calculating performance attributions and contributions.
Working with the Portfolio Management team to deliver key portfolio metrics.
Running analysis to assist in the portfolio management process.
Generating reports and performance attributions.
Business & Growth Development
Assisting with pitch book preparation.
Developing a strong relationship with the go to market team in order to increase fluidity of communication.
Supporting in responding to RFPs.
Relationship Management
Helping to better monitor peer group’s performance and positioning.
Providing support for key meetings preparation including presentations and portfolio analytics.
Producing monthly market comments / fund comments.
Other role specific responsibilities
Responding timely and accurately to requests from the sales team and other business units.
Attending meetings and producing high-quality accurate meeting notes.
The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:
Intention to study for CFA would be well regarded.
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent relevant experience / qualification is needed.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Some understanding of financial models.
Able to condense detailed information into concise and easily understandable form.
Any competence or experience with Bloomberg would be beneficial.
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (macros and pivot tables) needed.
Experience of VBA, SQL and/or Python is required.
Experience is using LLM and AI tools
Strong working knowledge or Powerpoint.
Able to provide information on a timely basis and in a usable format for others.
Equipped to complete all work according to set procedures and standards.
Capable of managing multiple projects at once and meeting tight deadlines
Good organisational skills and an ability to meet internal and external demands.
Able to co-ordinate and work well within a team.
Capable of working under pressure, both within a team and independently.
