Talent Junction is thrilled to be working exclusively with our rapidly growing client, located just outside Basingstoke, as they look to expand their HR function by hiring a skilled and proactive HR Assistant.
This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential support to the People team, with a mix of HR Administration and Recruitment responsibilities. If you have experience in HR Administration or as an HR Assistant and are ready to take your career to the next level, this is the perfect opportunity for you to thrive in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line HR support, addressing inquiries from employees and managers.
- Assist with employee relations matters, such as disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, flexible working, and performance issues.
- Oversee key HR processes, including onboarding, probation reviews, and offboarding.
- Perform general HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and updating the HR system.
- Offer ad hoc support to the Training team as required.
- Provide basic talent support to the Recruitment Team by reviewing applications and writing job adverts.
- Liaising with preferred agencies, and conducting screening calls when required for live vacancies within the business.
Skills and Experience:
- CIPD Level 3 qualified.
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Administrator/Assistant
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best HR practices.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and HR data management.
Salary and Benefits:
- £30K + Benefits.
- Hybrid 2/3 days on site
