Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Deal Governance Manager based in London. This is a newly created role that will drive Deal & Commercial Governance across our Global Major Accounts. The role will focus on the creation and launch of new processes and also direct support to larger, complex deals. It will require close working with Ricoh's global team for alignment of existing processes. The role will champion adherence to this process with hands-on support for larger, more complex deals and through leadership of the Pricing and Commercial Coordination roles. It will also ensure that all deals managed within the function are maximised to support growth across the business.

What you will be doing:

  • Work in a leadership role alongside the Head of GMA Bid & Commercial Function to create and launch necessary processes for the function including Bid Qualification, Tollgate process, Third Party pricing, Contract Negotiation and Contract Approval.
  • Ensure all processes have clear owners and demonstrate leadership around embedding processes in an effective way to ensure maximum adherence across global opportunities considering communication across teams.
  • Lead the team to ensure all eligible deals are managed in the final stages of the deal, including documentation, reporting, and post-deal activities, providing hands-on support for larger, more complex opportunities.
  • Support the customer engagement process through contract negotiation to signature, ensuring the contract terms and conditions support the expected profitability, are compliant with the approval parameters and Ricoh can deliver.
  • Oversee the execution of deals, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon terms, policies, and procedures.
  • Support bid teams in responding to requests for non-standard commercial content (terms and conditions, SLAs, etc.) and making key commercial decisions during the bid phase which will set the stage for contract negotiations when the tender is won.
  • Drive profitable growth with a focus on deal registration for Third Party Products, and access to discounted pricing across global opportunities.
  • Work in collaboration with the Partner Alliances team to ensure that the strategy across our vendor partnerships includes effective pricing models.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including internal teams, external parties, and regulatory bodies.
  • Creation and delivery of reporting across the function up to an Exec level at European and Global levels – including (but not limited to) timeline adherence, compliance adherence, risk management.

You will ideally have:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent professional qualification with subjects such as business administration, legal, preferred.
  • Proven experience in deal governance, contract management or a similar role within a commercial function.
  • Experience of working with pricing or pricing related activity is an advantage.
  • Previous line management experience – ideally with experience of setting up new roles in a large organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential for this role with any skills in another major European language an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of MS Office product suite and document creation and management tools, such as Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Qvidian, and client tender management software, such as Ariba.
  • A strong understanding of deal governance principles and practices and analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
