Senior Vessel Manager (Bulk)

Our company is assisting a valued client in sourcing an experienced Vessel Manager to join their team. If you have the expertise to overseeing bulk vessels, ensure compliance, and drive technical excellence, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and monitor reports budgets for all assigned vessels. In addition to this you will monitor the effective operation of the equipment and machinery of your assigned vessels to comply with policies on efficiency, performance, and safety. Monitoring vessels under their control to ensure all statutory requirements concerning certification, safe manning, safety procedures, plant and machinery are complied with and ensuring appropriate records are maintained, liaising with and making appropriate notifications to classification societies, flag administrations etc as necessary. Preparing budgets and specifications for dry-docking and voyage repairs. Analysing quotations and liaising with clients on dry-dock selection along with scheduling, supervision, and settlement of invoices. Ensuring the completion of shipyard appraisal forms are carried out. Requirements: Sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on bulk vessels CoC Class 1 At least 3 years shore based experience as a Technical Superintendent/Vessel Manager overseeing bulk vessels Dual Fuel Experience will be an added advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
