Tender Manager required for a leading subcontractor in the Offshore Wind Industry based in The Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Commercial Manager to align bidding vision with business strategies.
- Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality, competitive proposals for tenders.
- Develop strategies to optimize tender processes and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary technical, planning and financial inputs.
- Accurately calculate cost estimates for projects.
- Work with the Purchasing Department to request and review pricing and specifications from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare/support for customer-oriented quotations.
- Continuously refine calculation and analysis models to increase accuracy and relevance.
- Assist in variations of work.
- Ensure seamless and precise handover of tender documentation to the project management team.
Education and experience:
- A completed HBO or WO education in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, etc.).
- At least 3 years of experience in a Tender Manager role, preferably in a production environment.
- Experienced in drawing up cost estimates.
- Experience with software packages such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
