We are looking to expand our fabrication team at our Port Clarence facility. Over the coming months we are keen to speak to people interested in working with us on multiple long term prestigious UK Fabrication projects. Due to the nature of the work security clearance will be required.

Main Responsibilities

• Measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting.
• Operating plate cutting machine where required and trained to do so.
• Operating projector where required and trained to do so.
• Operating Bandsaw where required and trained to do so.
• Assembling steelwork in line with engineering drawings.
• Maintaining material traceability during assembly.
• Aligning and checking tolerances.
• Tack welding fabricated parts together.
• Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates.
• Working in confined space scopes where required.
• Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area.
• Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures and processes, and adherence to legislation.

2025 Pay Rate and Working Hours:

37.5 hours per week

• £21.80 per hour Dayshift
• £32.70 per hour Overtime 1 (Monday- Sat 1st 4 hours) – Project-dependent
• £43.60 per hour Overtime 2 (Sat post 1st 4 hrs & Sunday) – Project-dependent
• 23 days holiday plus statutory (rising to 25 plus statutory with service)
• Flexibility to ‘sell back’ holidays at year end or carry over
• Life Insurance £40k
• Company Sick Pay Based On Service

Dayshift

Monday – Friday from 0700hrs – 1500hrs

Overtime based on project requirements.
