Sales Assistant - Flexible hours

Come and join us as a results-driven Sales Assistant on a flexible hours basis to deliver sales and exceed customer expectations as part of a successful branch team.

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be committed to delivering outstanding service, professional, driven, and enthusiastic. The role is customer-facing, providing excellent service on our trade counter and over the phone, maximising sales opportunities.

You will be contracted to a set minimum number of hours per week and should be flexible to work additional hours during peak seasons, particularly in winter. Hours and shifts will be scheduled with notice to ensure clarity. You’ll promote an inclusive team environment and enjoy your time with us!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supporting the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimal margins.
2. Maintaining high standards, creating a loyal customer base, and providing first-class service.
3. Assisting with branch duties such as serving customers, telesales, and maintaining housekeeping standards.
4. Taking on general driving duties when required.

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll thrive working in a team, focusing on results, acting with integrity and honesty, and being flexible to meet customer and business needs. Previous experience in sales or customer assistance, along with product knowledge, is preferred but enthusiasm and a positive attitude are equally important.
