The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to be part of our dynamic medical services postal team. With a proven NHS background, we are committed to providing excellent service to our customers for over 30 years.

The role involves sorting post received from GPs and hospitals into pigeonholes, then bagging it for the surgeries in the morning. The bags are delivered by MTS during the day. In the afternoon, the focus shifts to franking post from DHC sites for collection by the MTS driving team.

Main duties of the job:
  • Maintain, sort, and collate post.
  • Operate the franking machine to a high standard without supervision.
  • Report for duty as scheduled.
  • Escalate any problems to the Head of Dorset Post.
  • Complete daily checks on the post room vehicle and record any defects.
  • Drive the post room vehicle when required within the Dorset Health Care area.
  • Keep the office clean and tidy daily.
  • Maintain journey records accurately and submit as required.
  • Undertake any other duties as directed by the Head of Dorset Post.
  • Ensure driving complies with Road Traffic regulations.
  • Promote equality and diversity.
