CNC Machinist Milling

• Respected engineering company in Atherton
• Manufacturing medium to heavy engineered components
• Roles available for day shifts and back shifts

The Job

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls
• Producing large, precision components to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
• Writing and editing CNC programs directly at the machine
• Selecting tooling and machining strategies for efficient production
• Working independently in a heavy engineering workshop

About You

• Engineering NVQ Level 3 or formal apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Proficient with Fanuc programming and operation of large CNC mills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
