Location: Based in Stafford Park, Telford (with travel to other boroughs for pick-ups and visits to our sites in South Yorkshire for training and development as needed)
Hours: Full time (9am-5pm Mon-Fri)
Salary: £27,517 per annum
Contract Term: Permanent

The Really NEET Project seeks an experienced professional to work closely with our Telford team to support the needs of our young people. The role includes the following categories:

Who will I be changing the lives of?
All learners have an Educational, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), indicating some level of additional need. Common areas include SEMH, Autism, ADHD, among others. We operate projects across The Midlands, Barnsley, Rotherham, and London.
Job Description
Family Liaison
- Build positive relationships with students and families/carers
- Conduct termly visits, provide updates, listen to concerns, and assist with documentation
- Prepare and review termly reports with parents/carers
Administration
- Maintain accurate records
- Assist with student transition and information sharing
- Keep SEND trackers updated
Engagement Officer
- Support disengaged learners and families with practical strategies
- Create engagement plans and utilize personalized budgets for re-engagement
- Cover offsite tutors if needed
MDT Meeting Assistance
- Build relationships with external agencies like Social Services and Mental Health teams
Advocacy
- Support students and families in self-advocacy
Community Links
- Develop partnerships for work placements and educational opportunities
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4 (C) in Maths and English
Experience
- At least two years working with young people and communities
- Knowledge of housing, benefits, and mental health regulations
