Location: Wiltshire - within 20 miles of Swindon

Practice: They are part of the proudly independent group which includes a Veterinary Hospital in Malmesbury, the oldest Borough in England and gateway to the southern end of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. They also have three local branches that are within 20 miles of the main practice.

  • Qualified veterinary nursing staff living on the premises
  • Three fully equipped operating theatres with modern anaesthetic equipment

  • Specialist diagnostics including laparoscopy, digital radiography, ECG recording, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, ultrasound, and blood pressure monitoring

  • On-site laboratory producing high-quality results quickly

  • Advice on feeding, breeding, worming, and general pet care
  • A Pampered Puppy club with free monthly veterinary examinations

Role: Our client has an opportunity for a colleague with at least two years’ experience to join their existing small animal team of 19 vets.

Support: In a stimulating and supportive working environment, our client encourages clinical freedom and case continuity, helping them deliver a high standard of care. Support is always available from their friendly and approachable team of vets.

Hours: They offer a 4-day week and 1:15 OOH rota, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

More About The Practice: They are VetGDP accredited by the RCVS and recruit two new graduates annually onto their new graduate programme. They have a Forum that meets regularly with representatives from each veterinary department to give feedback and bring new ideas. There are plenty of opportunities to socialise across all departments through various events.

Salary: They are offering an excellent salary of up to £70,000 p/a depending on qualifications and experience.

Benefits: You will have access to 5 days and £1750 CPD allowance (FTE) and RCVS and BSAVA memberships paid.
