The Role of Casual Sales Assistant:

This role may involve working across GAME and/or the Home Department.

Key Accountabilities:

• Greet and engage with customers upon arrival, addressing initial queries such as \’where is buy and collect.\’
• Assist customers with security tags left on at barriers.
• Support nearby tills if necessary.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that stands out in the marketplace.
• Help style customers with attention to detail by actively listening to their needs.
• Introduce and demonstrate enthusiasm for all multi-channel services to promote sales and foster customer loyalty.
• Resolve customer queries effectively, whether face-to-face or via telephone.
• Maintain replenishment standards and ensure stockroom and back-of-house areas are well-organized to ensure product availability.
• Maintain high standards of personal presentation.
• Participate actively in in-store events, offering ideas and feedback for improvements.
• Uphold sophisticated retail and visual standards to attract customers and boost sales.
• Contribute to loss prevention efforts within the store.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies at all times.
• Think quickly and fearlessly, inspiring the team.
• Take ownership of your role, responsibilities, and results.
• Remain relevant to our people, partners, and the planet.

This role does not guarantee fixed hours; working hours may vary weekly, and there may be weeks without any scheduled hours.
