We are looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join our accounts team, based out of our Ford Leeds site.
Our business started over 60 years ago and has been in the same family ever since. From our humble beginnings, we have grown to be in the top 50 car dealers in the country. Across our 26 businesses, we have a stable workforce of over 600 people, many of whom have been with us for years. We are always looking for genuine, caring people who have a can-do attitude.
Our recruitment philosophy is to recruit for attitude and train for skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in accounting and finance, be eager to learn, and develop their skills. You will support the day-to-day operations of our accounts team, so attention to detail and initiative are essential. The role involves providing administrative support to our accounts department. Accounts experience is essential; experience within the motor trade is beneficial.
Responsibilities may include:
- Keeping financial records updated and accurate.
- Preparing reports and reconciling bank statements.
- Dealing with queries.
- Performing ad hoc accounting tasks.
- Supporting the accounts team to ensure efficient operations.
