Supply Chain Coordinator

Hours and Location

40 hours per week, Mondays – Fridays

Location: Donald Ward House, Ilkeston

About the Role

Ward is recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to work within our National brokerage department. This role involves managing and maintaining excellent relationships between the company and suppliers to ensure customer requirements are consistently fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities

• Accepting order enquiries from customers and handling follow-up inquiries
• Developing the customer supply base and contributing to Ward\’s growth strategy
• Managing compliance within our supplier base concerning waste regulations
• Managing KPIs and conducting regular supplier audits
• Performance reporting and forecasting
• Negotiating contracts and establishing SLAs
• Operating company software

Skills and Knowledge Required

Experience in an administrative role is essential; industry knowledge is beneficial. The ideal candidate must have strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. The ability to work independently and proactively is crucial. Attention to detail, high standards of work, and meeting deadlines are key qualities we seek.
