We are recruiting healthcare assistants to join our friendly team supporting a young lady, aged 12, in her family home. Our client enjoys having energetic, fun, and caring individuals around her, who prioritize her well-being. She has an acquired brain injury and requires support with daily living tasks, personal care, medication, feeds, and therapies such as physio, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy.
The role involves overseeing health-related and social support, including all aspects of her health, well-being, and therapies as needed. Training will be provided.
We seek carers who can deliver person-centered care aligned with a personalized care plan tailored to her needs. You should be an excellent team player; two healthcare assistants are rostered for each shift.
You will be supported by our skilled Nurse Manager, who will guide the team to ensure high standards of care and your professional development.
Experience Required:
- Must be a manual driver and 21+ years of age
Desirable skills (training provided):
- Suctioning
- Seizure management
- Medication administration
- Teaching Assistant experience
