We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the front of house operations for our Pasta & Pizza and Terra restaurants within our Liverpool Street store.

As the Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all operations within the restaurant outlets, ensuring guest satisfaction, profitability, and a positive, engaged work environment. You will collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute innovative events to showcase our brand and offerings.

Successful candidates will have strong experience as general managers in multi-outlet hospitality environments and leading large teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and direct the store’s restaurant operations to maximize profitability while upholding the company’s mission, values, policies, quality, and guest experience standards.
  2. Liaise with the Executive Chef to ensure food production meets business and client needs.
  3. Set departmental goals and lead a team of managers, providing training, motivation, and encouraging collaboration.
  4. Build strong relationships with external partners.
  5. Analyze financial data and develop strategies around pricing, merchandising, and promotions to increase efficiency and sales.
  6. Prepare weekly updates on the Front of House department and collaborate with senior leaders to plan activities and achieve store goals.
  7. Assist with employee hiring, training, payroll, scheduling, evaluations, and terminations.
  8. Estimate food and beverage needs, and requisition or purchase supplies and equipment.
  9. Work with the Events & Marketing team on store-wide partner events.
  10. Document, investigate, and resolve employee and guest incidents.
  11. Perform additional duties as required, including working in different departments or restaurants.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Significant experience in the restaurant sector.
  • Experience managing multiple outlets or brands.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate large teams.
  • Leadership skills and a guest-facing approach.
  • Business, organizational, and analytical skills in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a large senior team.
  • Flexibility to support multiple teams and work onsite including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluent in English and right to work in the UK.
