Our client, a trusted leader in the building services industry for over 30 years, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Supervisor to join their team at a prestigious commercial office building in Knightsbridge. Key Duties:
- Organise and manage all planned and reactive maintenance.
- Manage a team of multi-skilled engineers.
- Ensure health and safety is adhered to and all paperwork is complete to correct standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of plant rooms.
- Ensure reactive maintenance is undertaken in accordance with the contract.
- Manage minor improvements.
- Attend client meetings.
- Manage contractors.
- Carry out hands-on duties as and when required.
- Undertake training and building/system familiarisation as part of the project’s Soft Landings activities.
- Liaise with engineering contractors, shift teams, Engineering Manager, and Permit Manager to plan and execute works.
- Prepare and manage permit-to-work requests as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including those involving directly employed staff and subcontractors.
- Investigate faults, identify root causes, and prepare timely reports on plant and equipment failures.
- Continuously seek opportunities for smarter, more efficient ways of working and process improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
- City & Guilds Electrical Competency (Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent apprenticeship).
- 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
- C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
- Undertake a call-out rota of 1 in 2.
- Strong building services knowledge in environments similar to HVAC standards.
- Critical Environment experience.
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.
