Our client is a small independent insurance brokerage based a short journey from Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield. They are long established and have a great team environment and have a brand new job opening available.

Essentially this is a “Private Client’s Account Handler” role, looking after the personal insurances of a large number of commercial clients; this could be motor, household, travel etc. and will involve you providing a full broking service, dealing with new quotations, making amendments to existing policies and negotiating renewals.

Although the main emphasis is on private clients, it is very likely that you will also be dealing with some commercial insurances; so this could be the perfect role for a private client specialist to transition towards commercial insurance.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary up to ÂŁ26k + Benefits. Being a small business they would prefer candidates able to be office based; although there may be some flexibility.

This would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to get away from a large corporate environment, perhaps preferring to join a small, friendly business with lots of focus on developing close client relationships.
