The Position

As a Graduate Security Analyst, you will work in our growing Security and Compliance team to:

  • Help other teams understand Acturis security and compliance policies and execute them appropriately
  • Work with other teams to document and analyse the various software solutions within Acturis
  • Design and implement systems and processes to ensure the security of the systems
  • Solve challenging technical problems using a structured and logical approach
  • Design, write and present training and education materials on security and policy
  • Analyse security data to identify trends and patterns

You will be given early responsibility for discrete projects and will receive structured feedback three times a year.

Training

Acturis believes that a mix of internal and external training allows colleagues to develop rounded skills:

  • New joiners receive concentrated initial training and close mentoring
  • Colleagues are encouraged to complete industry standard training in relevant topics
  • More senior colleagues can choose courses with time set aside and the course paid for
  • The Acturis management team run training sessions to pass on experience and best practice

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Graduated with a 2:1 or a 1st in a technical subject
  • Good A-levels or equivalent
  • A track record of delivering on projects and ability to carry tasks through to completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to work well as part of a team, seamlessly collaborating with others
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • A strong interest to learn about the field of Security and Compliance
