Our Client is a leading supplier and distributor of Chemicals with a turnover of over £100m. They are now seeking a Sales Manager or Business Manager. The role will require regular contact and visits to customers in the UK. This position will be field/home based and location within the UK is flexible. It is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Sales Directors and CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Promoting a range of Chemicals to new and existing accounts across the UK, predominantly Inorganics and Minerals
- Liaising with client’s technical and commercial departments
- Sample & trial approvals
- Formulating commercial contracts with supply-chain aspects
- Assist with exhibitions
Qualifications and Experience
- Educated to BSc level (or equivalent)
- A proven track record in sales and relative experience in the Chemical Industry
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use initiative and act independently
- Pro-active and energetic
- Results driven
- Computer literate
- Full driving licence
In return our Client is offering a competitive package including a basic salary of c£65,000 per annum plus car allowance, generous bonus/commission and benefits.
