Responsibilities

  • Assess and prioritise patient needs, create personalised care plans, and implement effective interventions in the emergency setting.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support to patients and their families during critical situations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes in high-pressure scenarios.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with established protocols.

Minimum Requirements

  • Have 6 months of hospital experience in a UK-based A&E setting.
  • Be effective working in a fast-paced, dynamic team.
  • Possess a compassionate nature with a genuine interest in emergency nursing.
  • Possess a PVG clearance (I can apply for this for you).
  • Experience working as a Band 6 nurse, showcasing leadership skills and the ability to handle complex cases.
  • Be willing to support the department with full-time hours, contributing to the efficient operation of the department.
