Role Overview:
The Machine Operator will manage setup, tune-up, and monitor semi-automated machinery to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up the case packer/labeller machines ready for production.
- Running routine maintenance of machinery.
- Ensuring quality and productivity targets are met consistently.
- Attention to detail and adjusting the machine as needed to improve quality and maintain line speeds.
- Carrying out in-process quality checks at specified intervals and recording downtime.
- Full ownership of machine performance.
