Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. **Shift subject to change**

The Maintenance and Operations Department is seeking (1) Air Conditioning Mechanic II to join the already awesome team taking the Building Maintenance Department to the next level of excellence!

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The ideal candidate will perform skilled manual work involving the repair and installation of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating equipment. In addition to supporting the department\’s Air Conditioning Mechanic II will also:

• Overhaul and service refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating units by repairing or replacing worn parts.
• Inspect equipment for needed repairs and perform routine maintenance.
• Test refrigeration units for leaks; add gas to refrigeration units.
• Monitor valves and gauges to ensure proper operation; adjust valves, pipes, etc., as needed.
• Change and clean oil and air filters.
• Operate Centrifugal and Reciprocating chillers.
• Assist in installing air conditioning and heating units and related equipment.
• May assist in training lower-level employees.
• Clean work areas and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Technical or vocational degree and two years HVAC experience; or high school diploma or GED and four years HVAC experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Salary: $36,000 – $45,000
