Shoezone has an opportunity for a Store Manager to join our team based in Maldon. You will join us on a full-time (37.5 hours), permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

We are a retail footwear retailer operating from 280 stores across the UK, including town centre, retail park, and digital channels. We offer low-price, high-quality footwear for the whole family, with free next-day delivery on all orders, seven days a week. Our store portfolio includes 91 town centre stores, 144 hybrid town centre stores, and 43 larger retail park stores, which also stock brands like Skechers, Hush Puppies, and Kickers. Our online store, shoezone.com, stocks exclusive footwear, providing a full multi-channel customer experience. Annually, we sell approximately 14.5 million pairs of shoes at an average retail price of £13.
The Store Manager Role
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your store. You will lead from the front in a role that can be challenging and demanding, focusing on maximising sales through local knowledge, exceeding budget targets, controlling costs, delivering excellent customer service, and inspiring your team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets through strong commerciality and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Support, develop, and mentor your team to ensure high store standards and a great customer experience.
- Maintain store standards and merchandising according to marketing guidelines and ensure high standards of housekeeping.
- Create a safe environment by implementing current health and safety policies.
