The Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to āMake it easy for men to dress wellā and we canāt do that without our specialist teams. This time, weāre on the lookout for an Operations Assistant who will be working with Scott, Raj and the Team in our Jermyn Street Flagship store. This contract available is 24 hours per week (overtime also available). Candidates must be flexible to work across weekends.
What you will be doing
As an Operations Assistant at CT, youāll be responsible for ensuring the shop floor is fully and accurately stocked, working closely with the shop floor sales team to ensure that every customer opportunity is maximised. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Regular stock replenishment
- Stock accuracy checks
- Processing deliveries and transfers
- Replenishing till point supplies
- Responding efficiently to stock requests using the in-store radios
- Proper handling of merchandise (including packaging, labelling and pricing)
The Flagship is a fast-paced environment so whilst this role will largely be based within the Stock Room Team, this role is part of the wider Jermyn Street Team. We prioritise and strive to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for our customers so you will be expected to have a presence on the shop floor to assist customers alongside the core duties of the role. Thereās also parts to the role that include ensuring high visual merchandising and store housekeeping standards consistently, adhering to VM, Compliance and Health and Safety guidelines.
What we are looking for
Previous experience in retail, an understanding of health and safety guidelines with some basic PC skills are all advantageous, but not essential. We're looking for people who enjoy working in a team as well as independently, and who have high levels of enthusiasm and drive with strong communication skills.
