LADbible Group is on the lookout for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our amazing Legal team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a unique opportunity to work in a small, supportive team where no two days are the same, offering a broad mix of corporate, commercial, and compliance work across one of the world’s most engaged digital brands.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advising on a wide range of legal matters across the business, including:
- Overseeing our corporate governance framework (e.g. board approvals)
- Advising on M&A opportunities
- Managing company compliance policies and procedures (anti-bribery, ESG)
- Reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts
- Protecting LADbible Group’s brand, content and IP
- Advising on data protection and privacy matters (UK & international)
- Supporting on regulatory risk and company secretarial filings
- Managing global company registers and corporate structuring
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified solicitor with 6–8 years’ PQE and a valid practising certificate
- Strong background in corporate M&A/commercial law
- Excellent communicator with great stakeholder management skills
- A clear, concise drafter with sharp attention to detail
- Strong multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in media, digital, or e-commerce sectors is a big plus!
