One of my clients based in the Midlands are currently on the search for an interim Environmental Crime Officer/Waste Enforcement Officer for a 6 month placement which is likely to extend.
The ideal candidate is expected to:
- Investigate incidents of fly-tipping.
- Advise and take legal action against local businesses on their disposal/handling of trade waste.
- Issue fixed penalty notices to offenders for littering, transportation of controlled waste and trade waste offences.
- Update the council regulatory services database.
Additional role information:
- Duration: 6 Months
- Hours per week: 37 or 24
- Rate: £20-£25p/h
- Start Date: ASAP
