Our client, a global entertainment group, is looking for an Interim Group Finance Manager to join their London team for an initial period of 6 months. The successful candidate will have significant experience in technical accounting, particularly with group consolidations and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Group's monthly consolidation.
- Post monthly technical accounting journal entries (revenue recognition, leases, share-based payments, financial instruments) and prepare new technical analysis, as required.
- Manage AP and payroll processes, including managing US Shutdown commitments.
- Lead the treasury process by forecasting long-term cashflows, performing forecast versus actual analysis and managing funding drawdowns and repayments.
- Own the month-end reporting process for group entities, including detailed balance sheet, investment and equity reconciliations.
- Support analysis on Partner Company reporting and prepare analysis and agendas for monthly management accounts calls with their FDs.
- Lead the preparation of the Group's statutory accounts and manage the year-end audit process.
- Assist the Director of Tax with tax planning and compliance tasks, preparing any group-level financial information required.
- Support the Head of FP&A in preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasting.
- Own the Group's systems environment and related processes.
- Provide clear and insightful financial information to the wider team to support decision making.
Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant.
- Comfortable in all areas of technical (consolidation) accounting, financial management, and control.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
