This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected commercial insurance business, suited to an individual who enjoys commercial insurance, especially the placement element of the role, locating suitable markets for slightly unusual commercial risks (predominantly London Market based).
As part of this role, you will be managing a portfolio of broker clients, assisting them as part of a team with access to Lloyds of London as well as a multitude of specialist insurer schemes and exclusive product arrangements.
Ideal applicants will have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance (mainly SME clients). You will be a strong communicator, enjoy negotiating, and more generally enjoy the cut and thrust of locating markets and successfully placing risks.
Although this is predominantly an office-based role, it is possible to work on a more flexible part home/part office basis. There will be a requirement to travel to London once or twice a month to meet with partner insurers/Lloyds Syndicates.
There is a great team dynamic, both professionally and socially, with plenty of career progression within the business.
This role comes with an excellent basic salary up to £33k and a comprehensive benefits package.
