An overview of the role: You will work on high profile, impactful projects which will help our clients deliver scalable energy infrastructure to help the UK transition to a low carbon, sustainable future. Our consultants bring Nuclear and/or Asset Intensive Industry experience, a strong business improvement skillset, an understanding of how the digitisation of core Capital Project delivery processes can reduce the total cost of ownership for mega projects and deliver on shareholder commitments.

Why this role? In your role you will help business leaders and their teams at all levels of an organisation to shape and drive their transformation journeys. We are looking for people who can be the critical friend and trusted partner, helping our clients understand and tackle the issues they face, defining the overall solutions to unlock value whilst steering them on the journey of transformation.

You will help our clients design and develop solutions which digitise and optimise processes across the value chain, from engineering design through to successful commissioning and handover to asset operations. You will form part of an experienced and flexible project delivery team who have real life industry transformation experience, helping clients to realise benefits and transform processes, operations and behaviours which will lead to improved efficiency, improved customer experience and improved business outcomes.

Key activities include:

• Leadership and strategic direction to the wider Nuclear and Digital Engineering team
• Proactive lead generation and sales contribution
• Senior client stakeholder management
• Programme and project delivery management of large multi-disciplinary teams
• Definition of future business and organisation models whilst developing an integrated view of people, technology and information impacts
• Define project scope and objectives, facilitate workshops to define and prioritise requirements, agree outcomes and programme risks.

Why you? You’ll bring experience from Nuclear, major infrastructure and / or oil & gas sectors. You’ll ideally have experience working in a consultancy or deploying internal improvement initiatives within an organisation. You will have experience of developing Digital Strategies that encompass organisation, information management and system design through to deploying practical scalable business solutions that make a visible difference for our clients.

You’ll have a blend of the below specific experience:

• Shaping, managing and leading and / or delivering projects in Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Utility or other Asset Intensive industries.
• You will support the design and delivery of Capital Project Execution, Engineering Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Asset Management applications to improve a business and functional operational performance.
• You will have experience of industry standards e.g. BIM, and policies to help our clients develop best of breed solutions for their context.
• You will have experience of one of the leading digital engineering technology platforms, e.g. Dassault 3DX, Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP ERP, Autodesk and others.
