We have a fantastic new opportunity for an Assistant People Business Partner with HR experience, to partner with management and support the delivery of strategic people solutions, cultural transformation, and staff engagement initiatives. The role involves acting as a partner to managers, empowering colleagues, and supporting a value-based, empathetic approach to people management. Responsibilities
- Partner with management to align people strategies with business goals using data-driven insights.
- Provide advice on workforce planning, talent management, engagement, wellbeing, and organisational redesign.
- Support cultural change and develop management capabilities in leadership and issue resolution.
- Contribute to Trust-wide People Strategy projects and policy development.
- Offer expertise in areas like EDI, mental health, or employee value proposition.
- Collaborate with People Services to ensure best practices and consistent service delivery.
- Stay updated on legislative changes to improve people services.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a HR / Human Resources generalist role.
- Support experience in managing all aspects of employee relations, policies, and recruitment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced HR environment providing first-level advice.
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students.
