This role is within Preqin, a part of BlackRock. Preqin plays a key role in revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients globally, complementing our Aladdin technology platform to deliver investment solutions for the entire portfolio. You will join an enthusiastic team responsible for full-stack QA, including end-to-end testing from analyzing to automation, running in the TeamCity pipeline, and ensuring successful releases.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, and test against acceptance criteria for User Stories.
- Coordinate testing activities within Business units and the QA team.
- Collaborate with Developers and QAs.
- Perform manual and automated testing, creating scripts in TypeScript for CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement test automation using Puppeteer/Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber.
- Understand API testing and work closely with the development team.
- Conduct performance testing using JMeter.
- Ensure releases meet business expectations, documenting these expectations.
Ideal candidate:
- Good understanding of TypeScript, Puppeteer/Playwright, and TeamCity.
- Experience with SQL Queries, AWS.
- Passionate about identifying software issues.
- Knowledge of API development and testing.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn continuously.
