Description

Position requirements:

• Completed or near completion of Certificate III in Individual Support, IV in Disability or Diploma of Community Services or any related qualification.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to work independently with disabled individuals to achieve social and self-care goals.
• Positive attitude with nurturing and kind nature.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Manual Handling and Standard Food Handling procedures.
• Ability to work with care plans.
• Ability to record and maintain accurate non-judgmental information.
• NDIS Screening Check.
• Updated first aid and CPR.
• Current Working with Children check.
• Australian Drivers Licence and use of own car.

Preferred Criteria:

• Updated Asthma First Aid for Workplaces Certificate.
• PEG/PEJ feeding experience.
• Updated Administration of Medication Certificate.

Main Task:

• This role is physically demanding, requiring frequent lifting.
• Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 4 PM.
