Role: Train Service Delivery Manager (Shift & Relief)
Location: West of Scotland Signalling Centre, Springburn, Glasgow

Not your average role⦠Due to a review of our service delivery model, ScotRail's Control function is looking for an additional 12 Train Service Delivery Managers to join their team. Train Service Delivery Managers are responsible for optimising Scotland's train services through the co-ordination of multiple resources and ensure performance levels are maintained to meet the needs of our customers. This is a critical role to ensure ScotRail's train services continue to run with minimal disruption through the effective assessment and mitigation of unplanned events including adverse weather, network issues and train delays. During times of disruption, the Train Service Delivery Manager will develop and implement a customer-driven contingency plan and engage with both internal and external stakeholders to effectively deliver this within strict timeframes.
What you bring:
- Previous experience working in a highly pressured environment managing competing priorities and utilising multiple data sources to inform decision-making.
- Ability to work autonomously and take accountability to make key strategic decisions within a time sensitive environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and articulate technical language to both internal and external stakeholders within time-sensitive environments.
- A proactive approach to workload with the ability to adapt to varying situations and apply creative problem-solving skills whilst adhering to policy and procedure.
Please note - due to the nature of this role, successful candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, nights and weekends based on a 35-hour contract.

Selection process:
