We are pleased to be working with one of London’s premier wood product manufacturers. This role will appeal to individuals looking to join a stable, successful organization with solid growth plans.

Pay rate: $20.50 per hour. Reliable transportation is a must as this location is not accessible by bus route.

General Responsibilities
  • Provide training to more junior level, less experienced workers.
  • Willing to work occasional weekends and extended hours during the work week as needed and be flexible to schedule changes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • All finishing touches of the door, including placement of glass into the doors; cutting trim; Important to note tempered glass cannot be cut (95%) firelight can be cut.
  • Operation of the Heesemann Sanding Machine.
  • Work with cranes.
  • Run whole doors through the sander, set-up of Heesemann machine with precision. (Fire Door 300 lbs).
  • Vacuum lifter on crane.
  • Load panels manually at times 50 lbs range.
  • Apply stains (Pat).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Previous experience working with wood.
  • Knowledge and ability to successfully interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools; tape measure, hammer, table saw, trimmer, planer etc.
  • Capable of performing repetitive, physical work.
  • Must be able to lift 50 to 200 lbs. using a dual lift.
  • Flexible to work in any area of the facility.
Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to frequently lift to 150-200 lbs. with a dual lift – new lift assist equipment is most done there.
  • Most work is performed below to above shoulder level – up and extended reach.

AM Shift (6:00am-2:30pm Monday to Friday) at $20.50 per hour.
