We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with expertise in hydraulic and mechanical engineering to join a dynamic team. This role offers the chance to manage a variety of offshore crane and hydraulic equipment projects, delivering high-quality outcomes while prioritising safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee tenders, offers, design, and engineering activities to deliver successful projects.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert assistance for offshore crane operations, including troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Engineering Expertise: Deliver engineering support for hydraulic and mechanical equipment, from sourcing spare parts to refurbishment plans and equipment hire.
  • Survey & Design: Conduct offshore and onshore surveys, prepare work packs, and carry out engineering design for offshore crane and hydraulic projects.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to HSEQ policies and promote a safety-first culture across all work.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Qualifications: Degree in hydraulic or mechanical engineering (or equivalent). HND/HNC/NVQL3 with relevant experience also considered. Chartered/Incorporated accreditation preferred or working towards.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of proportional control open and closed-loop systems. CETOP Competence-Based Hydraulics Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Certifications: BOSIET & MIST (desirable but not essential).
  • Core Skills: Strong organisational and communication abilities. Independent, methodical, and proactive work style. Proficient in IT tools, including MS Project, Excel, and Word. Understanding of offshore HSEQ requirements.
