Position: Syncros Entrance Matting Installer

About the role

We are seeking experienced Floor layers to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various flooring products, PVC systems, sheet materials, and subfloor preparation with screed and latex products.

Key Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and install entrance matting materials to specific requirements.
Remove existing floorings and dispose of them efficiently and responsibly.
Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing surfaces for quality finish.
Ensure installations meet customer specifications.
Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Skills and Requirements

Certifications: CSCS card with a skilled worker (blue card) in Entrance Matting and Matwell framing is an advantage.
Driving: A full valid UK driving license held for at least 12 months for insurance purposes.
Experience: Entrance matting installer or multi-skilled floor layer familiar with entrance matting products and subfloor preparation.
Technical Skills: Experienced with hand and power tools including jigsaw, plunge saw, grinders, and drills.
Attention to Detail: High standards for finishing details.
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for client and colleague interactions.
Flexibility: Ability to work various days, nights, and stay away as required.
