Are you a registered mental health nurse, social worker, occupational therapist, or work in any other Nursing Discipline and looking for a new rewarding role? The University of Surrey\’s Wellbeing and Welfare department has a great opportunity for Mental Health Practitioners to join the team and contribute to the student experience.

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled mental health professional with experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. This fixed‑term role is available on a full‑time or part‑time basis for up to 12 months. Working hours can be discussed during the hiring process, with the expectation that the successful candidate will be based on our campus.

As Part Of The Role, You Will

  • Play a lead role in supporting the service and the wider University to offer proactive and compassionate mental health support to our entire student community.
  • Work with the Wellbeing team to develop a service to meet the changing needs of students with mental health concerns and bring about evidence‑based improvements to the service provision.
  • We will consider applications from recent graduates with a current membership of the NMC/Social Work England/HCPC.
