We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide a continuum of community-based services to children, adults, and families. Responsibilities include:
- Examine patients to determine general physical condition following standard medical procedures.
- Consult with outside agencies, referral sources, and other professionals as needed.
- Order laboratory and other special diagnostic tests and evaluate data obtained.
- Determine nature and extent of mental disorder and formulate a treatment program.
- Treat and direct treatment of patients utilizing psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Provide medication management for patients of the clinic.
- Respond to client emergencies as required.
You will work with a professional and innovative clinical team to provide clients with a full range of services for their mental health and substance abuse recovery needs, including intensive family issues, trauma, forensics, and mental illness.
