Clinical Research Nurse

Upsilon Global is seeking a freelance study/research nurse for an upcoming paediatric clinical study requiring home care visits across Newcastle. The study is set to commence in April/May 2025, and we aim to complete the recruitment by the end of 2025.

Each patient (approx. 5 in total) will participate in the study for 48 weeks with approx. 8 visits total. Each visit is expected to last approximately 1 hour, with travel time not exceeding 2 hours one-way.

Responsibilities:

• Infectious Disease History
• Dietary Habits Review
• Preparing and Shipping Lab Samples

Study-specific requirements:

• Blood Draw Experience in Children
• Complex Care Experience (specifically “ventilator experience”)

Background/Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a study nurse working with clinical trials
• Preferably experience as a site coordinator/site management experience
• Experience with wound care
• GCP, IATA and BLS certificates advantageous
• Experience attending on-site patient visits
• Experience with patient recruitment (pre-screening, inclusion/exclusion criteria)
