This elite U.S. firm’s London tax team is undergoing a strategic expansion, hiring Associates NQ-6PQE. This growth is led by a recently appointed partner who is building out the European cross-border M&A and PE tax practice, ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers.
The practice is particularly well-suited for associates seeking exposure to technically challenging work in a fast-paced, international environment, with clear opportunities for progression as the team scales. Lower volume-higher quality deal approach, good level of responsibility, but with very available supervision and partner-led training.
The team is currently headed by three renowned partners, specializing mainly in corporate and funds tax. This will be the main bulk of your work, but you would also gain exposure in finance, capital markets and real estate tax, depending on the workload coming from asset management, M&A and private equity clients. You would also be expected to engage deeply with UK and international tax law, often working alongside U.S. and EU counsel to deliver integrated advice.
Requirements:
- UK Qualified Solicitor
- At least six months of training in a tax team, to six years of post-qualified experience (NQ-6PQE)
- Experience in a top-ranked Magic Circle, Silver Circle or US firm
- Top academics
