About the role: We are entering a new era for Ready-to-Drink (RTD) brands—one that demands pace, creativity, precision, and performance. To lead this transformation, we are excited to introduce the role of Head of Marketing – RTD Brands. This is a rare opportunity for a bold marketing leader to shape and deliver the future of our RTD portfolio in Great Britain. The role focuses on building cultural relevance, consumer recruitment, and commercial growth in a dynamic and high-potential alcohol category. You’ll oversee category strategy, brand building, innovation, and execution, collaborating across local, regional, and global teams. The successful candidate will influence brand development and category evolution.
Role Responsibilities:
- Category & Brand Strategy: Lead the development of insight-led RTD category and brand strategies that incorporate brand building, innovation, RGM, and commercial execution. Ensure strategic clarity and excellence across the marketing mix with a focus on consumer needs and commercial results.
- Global & Regional Collaboration: Work closely with Global Brand Teams and European RTD teams to align brand ambitions with media and promotional investments. Reflect local consumer needs and recruitment goals in global and regional plans.
- Innovation & Pipeline Development: Partner with innovation leads and regional teams to define a forward-looking innovation strategy that promotes long-term growth. Manage an agile pipeline that balances scale, speed, and experimentation to succeed in a changing market.
- Consumer & Shopper-Centric Leadership: Collaborate with consumer and shopper planning teams to embed customer-centricity into decision-making. Lead efforts on consumer behavior insights, cultural relevance, and shopper activation strategies.
- Commercial & P&L Ownership: Support ownership and management of the shadow P&L for RTD brands in GB. Monitor performance, respond to market shifts, and partner with commercial teams to achieve growth and profitability.
- Transformation Initiatives: Redefine media models to drive impulse purchases through in-store media, weather triggers, and digital targeting. Expand presence in lifestyle spaces like festivals and on-trade environments. Deepen cultural engagement through music, fashion, and grassroots experiences. Lead pack architecture strategies for seasonal and culturally relevant packaging. Enhance shopper marketing capabilities using convenience and retail solutions.
Experience / skills required:
- 10+ years in RTD, alcohol, FMCG, or related fast-paced consumer categories.
- Strong leadership skills in cross-functional environments and P&L management.
