Barnsley Children’s Services are seeking an advanced Social Work practitioner with a strong background in children with disabilities and safeguarding. Experience supervising others is desirable. This will be a non-case holding role, whereby you will support the Designated Social Care Officer with rolling out training, co-productions with parents/carers, children & young people, the development of Social Care/SEND services, and the new Barnsley short breaks team. This role is initially for a 6-month period.
