We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join our dynamic team in a pivotal role, focusing on planned and reactive maintenance across diverse locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in service and maintenance operations across designated sites.
- Prioritise maintenance and repair tasks to meet established timescales and response requirements.
- Swiftly identify non-repairable faults, providing detailed findings to the management team, and suggesting suitable replacements.
- Ensure timely completion of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules, with accurate and thorough documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date technical and compliance paperwork at all times.
- Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota, coordinating cover during holidays or unforeseen circumstances.
- Respond promptly to service call requests, assessing job requirements, and conducting repairs as needed.
- Conduct surveys and complete reports as directed by the refrigeration supervisor/RFM.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards in an efficient, cost-effective manner while complying with company Health and Safety policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Based Qualification.
- Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate.
- Ability to read drawings and diagnose equipment issues.
- Strong equipment diagnostic and repair skills.
- Possession of a current full driving license is essential.
- Availability for out-of-hours working and participation in standby rota.
