Following their recent investment, they are looking for a BOAS qualified Boiler Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established engineering team. The company has multiple sites within the organisation and offers opportunities for employees to train both internally and externally to become the best engineer possible.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the utility processes, improving and maintaining the areas of responsibility.
  • Operate and maintain the utility processes, such as but not limited to the Steam Boiler/Generators, Air Compressors, and associated equipment and processes.
  • Drive improvement solutions from start to completion.
  • Effective communicator with all members of the operations team including engineering, production, safety, and quality teams.
  • Input into engineering maintenance strategy to eradicate breakdowns.
  • Ensure improvements are sustainable, share knowledge with all team members, updating engineering standards and maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • BOAS qualified is ESSENTIAL to do the job.
  • Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
  • Qualified to ONC/HND and NVQ3 or equivalent.
  • Understanding and experience of Steam Boilers, Steam Generators, Air Compressors, and associated equipment and processes.
  • Ideally worked in an FMCG / Food-related industry.
  • Worked in a similar Utilities Role / Boiler Maintenance Engineering position.
