The Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY's ambition to create long-term value as the world's most trusted, distinctive professional services organization. BMC also includes a number of teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. The Global BMC Alliances and Ecosystem Partner Lead is a critical role within BMC. This role will take the lead for the Global BMC Alliances and Ecosystem Partner team and work very closely with the business to deliver BMC strategies and programs to deliver against the NextWave ambition which includes activating our Alliance partner relationships as part of our focus on technology-enabled transformation. We are on a path to achieve $30bn in revenues by FY30 underpinned by our relationships with leading technology partners across our EY ecosystem such as Microsoft, SAP, NVIDIA, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Dell and more.
The successful candidate will work closely with the business to set the strategy for our Strategic 360s (S360s), as well as providing direction, guidance and advice at varying levels to the local team responsible for other alliances. The advice and support offered will vary from a self-serve model through to heavy consultation depending on the size, scale and scope of the alliance.
Specific responsibilities:
- Provides strategic advice to the Global Alliances and Ecosystem Leader and broader Global Ecosystem Leadership Team (GELT).
- Creates the global BMC strategy and plan in alignment with the Alliances and Ecosystem global business plans and growth priorities and oversees the delivery of the plan.
- Responsible and accountable for delivery of high impact co-marketing plans, built jointly with our Alliance counterparts, including events, campaigns, content and other co-branding opportunities.
- Develops and maintains external relationships with peers and business leaders across select Alliances.
- Aligns initiatives with strong brand centric strategy and content, delivers lead generation campaigns that drive marketing qualified opportunities that lead to revenue.
- Plays a leadership role in driving best practices in delivery of programs and flexible resourcing for Alliances and Ecosystems across BMC.
- Develop proactive PR and Media relations plan, collaborating with PR team, to elevate the profile of EY, EY Partner Ecosystem, solutions as well as leaders.
- Drives internal engagement strategies that ensure all EY people are aware of, understand and can execute alliance partner programs within their account.
- Works with and integrates across all of BMC including sector, service lines, regions and other BMC programs to ensure successful integrated delivery and high impact in the market.
- Strong teaming and integration across Growth and Innovation, including Tech and AI as well as innovation counterparts.
- Leads a small Global team focused on Alliances and Ecosystem, as well as GDS team members.
- Inspires the collective BMC team, provides leadership, coaching and direction, fostering a culture of high-performance teaming.
- Is responsible for all budgetary and financial management of aligned BMC budget and appropriate measurement of market impact and evaluation of ROI.
- Proactive management of Market/Partner Development Funds (MDF/PDF) from external Alliance teams.
The successful candidate will demonstrate critical and creative thinking across BMC and will work across the function to strategize, develop and lead programs that deliver integrated marketing activities that resonate globally and ensure exceptional client experience. The successful candidate will be expected to work with highly sensitive and confidential information in their day-to-day work. The successful candidate will be able to manage senior stakeholders, include Global Executive (GE) as well as increased compliance requirements. The successful candidate will be able to seamlessly deal with unexpected or last-minute requests, while executing more regular tasks and programs. Global travel may be required pending business needs.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Exceptional track record of managing and implementing global ecosystem and alliance partner marketing programs.
- Strong background in B2B demand generation across paid, earned and owned channels.
- Deep knowledge of functional disciplines such as email marketing, social media, web, online advertising, search marketing, influencer marketing, demand side media platforms etc.
- Solid understanding of data and technology.
- A global mindset and ability to communicate effectively and inclusively across different cultures, languages and time zones.
- Ability to develop and lead programs in line with business objectives.
- The drive and enthusiasm to act as a thought leader in the ecosystem space.
- Experience of working collaboratively across a highly matrixed organization and of establishing personal credibility and influence across organizational hierarchies.
- Experience and understanding of client centric BMC function.
- Experience of working successfully with offshore teams.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience in B2B marketing, with substantial experience in professional services.
- Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level.
