We have an exciting opportunity for a Roof Truss and Posi Joist Estimator & Designer to join the Crendon Timber Engineering team. You will be responsible for producing estimates along with detailed, accurate designs for our products to meet customer/business requirements.
We are looking for an individual with a natural ability to build rapport and communicate with customers, providing them with technical knowledge and experience to drive opportunity across our market sector.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Liaise with customers both in person and over the phone to forge strong relationships.
- Attend site and customer visits to obtain information and support our customer requirements.
- Interpret customer requirements and provide efficient and professional estimates and designs, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Work collaboratively in branch to ensure designs are efficient, cost-effective, and in line with company KPIs.
Skills Required but not limited to:
- Good understanding of I.T (use of Microsoft Office 365 suite).
- MiTek PAMIR experience preferable.
- Confident written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required to liaise with colleagues and customers.
- Able to work as part of a team in an open office environment but also be self-motivated to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Passionate about exceeding customer expectations and providing excellent customer service.
- Experience is preferred; however, development Junior and training roles will be considered.
