initiative for Social Enterprise (iSE) are seeking a passionate and dedicated Strategic Programmes Lead to join our team. Working at an award-winning social enterprise, dedicated to empowering aspirers in social enterprises and profitable businesses with social impact. In this role, you will be responsible for taking briefs, designing, implementing, and co-managing social impact programmes.
Key Responsibilities:- Programme Development: Creation, coordination and delivery of social impact programmes, to agreed workplans, budgets, goals, objectives, and timelines.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, clients, beneficiaries to ensure collaborative and effective programme delivery.
- Leading a Team: Working with a fabulous small team committed to making change.
- Compliance with Service Level Agreements: Ensuring programmes are created in line with agreed funder requirements.
- Implementation: Coordinate and oversee the execution of existing programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish metrics and conduct regular assessments to measure the impact and effectiveness of programmes, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on programme outcomes, challenges, and success stories for internal and external audiences.
- Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilisation of resources, including volunteers, funds, and materials, to maximise programme impact.
- Merchandise development: Designing and developing products/services to support programmes and generate revenue.
- Excellent Communication: Leading whilst working with marketing colleagues to promote awareness of social impact initiatives through online and offline communication channels.
- Innovation: Continuously seek out best practices and innovative approaches to enhance programme effectiveness and reach.
- Planning: Developing and maintaining programme plans, timelines, and project schedules.
- Budgeting: Financial planning, maintaining programme budgets and records, and tracking expenses.
- Organising: Organising programme activities and agendas, and booking and managing events.
- Supporting participants: Providing guidance, learning materials, and support to participants, and tracking their engagement.
- Improving processes: Working with colleagues to document and improve processes, whilst identifying best practices.
- Liaising: Liaising with other teams and senior staff to complete projects.
- Problem-solving: Using problem-solving skills to find solutions for issues.
- Prioritisation: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Drive: Demonstrate motivation towards achieving successful results programme.
- Problem solver: Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems for you and our clients.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in creating and delivering social impact programmes, coordination, project management, preferably within the not-for-profit, or profit-for-purpose sectors.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, embracer of ChatGPT, MS Sharepoint, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge: Understanding of social impact principles, community development, monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
- Personal Attributes: Passionate about change, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You are a proven ‘Do-er!’
