Could you be Incommunities new Specialist Project Manager (Fire & Safety)? Within this role you will be responsible for managing our multi million pound, High-Rise Fire & Building Safety projects. This will include the extensive delivery of fire & building safety planned remediation and asset investment works; working in collaboration with our partnering consultant and operational delivery team. You will bring extensive holistic investment delivery experience, with specific focus on fire & building safety work and a forensic understanding of the building safety regulator and the expectations around the planning gateway process. This will complement your excellent customer and stakeholder engagement skills, ensuring they are the heart of all your decision making.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the direct management of multi-million pound, complex, planned fire and building safety remediation projects.
- Responsible for all project management activities to deliver our High-Rise Building Safety Remediation works projects.
- Responsible for all project management activities to deliver our Asset Investment works projects aligned to the HRB Safety Remediation works.
- Be onsite to oversee works delivery to the required specifications/schedules.
- Work collaboratively with our nominated consultant, sub-consultants, contractor/s ensuring all aspects of contract management are adhered to.
- Challenge standards and workmanship to ensure these meet our customers and IC’s high standards and specifications.
- Work closely with our Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) to ensure clear lines of communication.
- Direct management of a dedicated Customer Liaison Officer.
- Monitor financial spend vs budgets, reforecasting and putting mitigations in place if required.
- Ensure data that is captured and recorded is robust and fit for purpose.
- Oversee an operational working group, keeping them informed of the works, progress and any concerns.
- Ensure external partners are clear on the works, timescales and impact.
Requirements:
- HNC / Degree / Diploma education in construction or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-years onsite experience of managing complex Investment works including fire safety projects.
- Extensive knowledge of The Building Safety Act, Building Safety Regulator and planning Gateway Process.
- Extensive financial management experience in relation to setting, forecasting, re-forecasting, mitigation and reporting against budgets.
- Strong customer focus on all aspects of delivery.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business use.
Desirable / willing to work towards:
- Qualification and/or training in Stock Condition Surveys, EPC’s, Disrepairs and Damp and Mould.
- Experience and understanding of repairs/void surveying.
Salary ranges from £47,502 up to £51,931 per year. Benefits include West Yorkshire Pension Fund membership, 28 days annual leave that increases with service plus bank holidays, option to buy and sell annual leave, training, development, and qualification opportunities, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, and discounts at over 800 retailers.
