We’re looking for a commercially minded and proactive Strategic Partnership Manager to join our growing Partnerships team. This is a pivotal new role created as part of our integration of Dignity and Farewill with the aim of scaling our funeral proposition across both pre-need (funeral plans) and at-need (funeral services) markets.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you’ll take full ownership of an existing portfolio of funeral partnerships, bringing fresh energy, insight and structure to unlock their full potential. You'll also play a key role in identifying and launching new commercial partnerships to help grow our reach and impact working closely with senior leaders and collaborating across teams including Product, Operations, Marketing, Compliance and Legal.

If you’re a strong relationship builder with commercial acumen and a passion for meaningful work, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic partnerships across funeral plans and at-need funeral services.
  • Reinvigorate underused relationships through performance reviews, updated terms, and partner engagement.
  • Deliver training, support and enablement to ensure partners actively promote and represent our services.
  • Identify, negotiate and launch new partnerships with businesses aligned to our mission - including IFAs, insurers, benefits providers and more.
  • Lead the full partnership lifecycle from pitch to launch, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve partner tools, customer journeys and service quality.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives including new product propositions and market strategy.
  • Provide clear reporting, commercial insight and accountability to support team goals and KPIs.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience managing B2B or channel partnerships in a commercial or operational context.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple moving parts.
  • Commercially astute, with experience improving partner performance and driving mutual value.
  • A self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in regulated environments or service-led industries is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with funeral plans, insurance or financial services is a plus but not essential.
What We Offer:
  • Annual salary of up to £50,000
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
  • X2 Life Assurance
  • Pension Scheme
  • Hybrid flexible working (3 days in our Sutton Coldfield office)
